Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: June 2026  ·  Last updated: September 2026

By accessing and using TaxCalc PK at taxcalcpk.com, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our calculators, blog content, or any other features. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the website.

1. Estimation Purposes Only

All calculations provided on TaxCalc PK — including but not limited to Salary Tax, PTA Mobile Tax, Withholding Tax, Rental Income Tax, Property CGT, Vehicle Token Tax, PSID preparation, USD-to-PKR conversion, and Gold Rate valuation — are for informational and estimation purposes only. While every rate is cross-checked against official FBR Finance Act documents, SRO notifications, PTA DIRBS guidelines, and provincial Excise Department schedules — and every correction we have had to make is published openly on our rate corrections page — we do not claim the results are error-free, and they do NOT constitute official tax advice, a legal assessment, a binding tax ruling, or a substitute for consultation with a qualified tax practitioner.

For any tax filing, payment, or compliance decision, you should consult a registered tax practitioner (FCA, FCMA, or RA-B category) chartered accountant, or directly verify the relevant rate with the Federal Board of Revenue through the official IRIS portal at iris.fbr.gov.pk.

2. Accuracy and Official Sources

Tax laws in Pakistan are subject to change by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) through the annual Finance Act, supplementary SROs, circulars, and mid-year amendments. TaxCalc PK aims to update calculators promptly after each Federal Budget announcement to reflect the latest gazetted Finance Act, but rates may lag behind emergency SROs, court rulings, or amendments between updates.

TaxCalc PK shall not be held liable for any discrepancies between our estimated rates and your final tax assessment by the authorities. We explicitly recommend cross-checking any figure that will be used for actual tax filing against the official FBR source, particularly for large transactions, complex tax positions, or time-sensitive filings. Currency exchange rates fetched from third-party APIs are indicative only and may differ from interbank or open market rates at the time of your actual transaction.

3. Not Affiliated with FBR or Government Bodies

TaxCalc PK is an independent financial tool portal built and operated by a single developer, Bilal Hassan. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), or any other government body, ministry, or department of the Government of Pakistan or any provincial government. All mentions of these bodies on this website are for reference and contextual purposes only.

The official FBR IRIS portal is iris.fbr.gov.pk. The official PTA DIRBS portal is dirbs.pta.gov.pk. For any binding tax payment, registration, or filing, please use these official channels directly.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TaxCalc PK, its owners, operators, employees, contractors, content contributors, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any financial decisions, tax penalties, audit consequences, missed deadlines, or any other losses or damages — whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive — incurred by you or any third party based on the use of our calculators, the information presented on this website, or any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in our content.

You acknowledge and agree that you use the information and tools on TaxCalc PK entirely at your own risk and discretion. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any calculation before relying on it for tax filing, payment, business decisions, or any other consequential action. This limitation applies regardless of whether you are a casual visitor, a registered user, or a paid subscriber to any future premium services.
